ENEDI staff participate in the events organized by the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao on September 30. In the central activity, held at Campo Volantín, various research groups from the UPV/EHU presented the subjects, research and projects related to the objectives of the European Green Deal. ENEDI showed its lines of work in energy efficiency in buildings and energy storage.
The European Researchers’ Night, which is held in more than 370 cities on the continent, is funded by the European Commission under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – an initiative to promote scientific careers in Europe –, which is part of Horizon Europe, Research and Innovation Framework Program of the European Union. Its main objectives are to bring the figure of researchers closer to the public so that their work and the benefits they bring to society are known, as well as promoting the choice of a scientific career among students, eliminating gender barriers.
This year’s 2022 edition will address two topics:
- Adaptation to Climate Change including Social Transformation.
- Smart and climate neutral cities.
